Chandon Vintage Brut - Best Sparkling in Victoria

 

In November 2009 Domaine Chandon was a participant in the 19th Annual Concours des Vins du Victoria, a wine show that is judged by leading French winemakers and sommeliers, and is chaired by renowned French winemaker Michel Chapoutier.

In a field of over thirty Victorian Sparkling Wines, the Chandon Vintage Brut 2006 was awarded the trophy for best sparkling wine of show. This is the second consecutive year that the Chandon Vintage Brut has won a gold medal at this show, but the first trophy. The award was accepted by Sparkling Winemaker Glenn Thompson.
